ISAP exchange program with Seoul National University
The following pages have been created in order to inform about the ISAP exchange program with Seoul National University (SNU) in Korea.
Since 2004 we are proud to offer this new exchange program for chemistry students.
Requirements:
In order to qualify for the exchange program with SNU, you have to fulfill the following requirements:
• Vordiplom (Note besser 2.0)
• profunde Englisch Kentnisse
• Schein des OC-F Praktikums
• Schein der Vorlesung Makromolekulare Chemie
Application procedure:
1) In order to apply for the exchange program with SNU, please fill out the following form and submit it before December 1st to Mrs. Karstadt and/or Dr. Theato.

2) Once you have been nominated for the exchange program with Seoul National University you have to apply at SNU directly. Here is a guideline to follow:
* Admission forms: Application form, Recommendation form, Financial certification
* Copy own passport
* Copy parents passports or ID-Cards
* Curriculum vitae (in English, incl. reason why visiting SNU)
* Abitur-certificate (copy and english translation)
* Vordiplom-certificate (copy and english translation)
* Letter of financial support (provided from DAAD)
* Housing form for dormitory

3) Once you have been accepted at SNU, it is time to apply for the Visa:

* Visa form (student visa, D-2) (can be downloaded from homepage)
* Passport
* Pass photo
* Certificate of Admission (received from SNU)
* Letter of financial support (DAAD)
* Fee (in 2004: 45 Euro)
* Stamped and addressed envelope (Einschreiben)
4) After your arrival in Korea, you have to visit the Immigration Office within 90 days to apply for an Alien Registration Card. They’ll keep your passport for ~2 weeks and you’ll have to pick it up again.
* Mokdong Office (subway station “Mokdong” #520, ~10min walk south, a grey building on the eastern side of the small park)
* Certificate of Admission (SNU)
* Passport
* Pass photos
* Fee (in 2004: 10.000 Won)
